Origin: Brazil (also known to Subtropical and tropical climates)
Sunlight: I will thrive in areas with a mixture of bright light and partial shade. This will show off my impressive polka dot features, however keep me out of direct sun for long periods as this will scorch my leaves.
Temperature: I like high humidity so I would benefit being placed on a tray of wet pebbles. Please keep me well away from draughts as I much prefer room temperature or even warmer between 18 - 30°C.
Growth: In my native environment conditions I can reach heights of 1.5 meters tall, and at times produce clusters of delicate white flowers.
Toxicity: Toxic if ingested, so keep me well away from children and pets.
Watering: The key to watering me is to never let me completely dry out. During winter, let the top couple of inches of my soil to dry out between watering, but not completely, In summer months you may need to water me more frequently, but be sure to allow to thoroughly drain the excess, not doing this may cause fungal diseases or root rot after periods of me sitting in water.
Feed: A feed high in nitrogen is ideal, given during warmer month ranging May to September.
