Care

Keep your dried flowers in top condition by following these tips:

  • No water needed.
  • Keeping your flowers away from direct sunlight, will prolong the life of your dried flower bunch.
  • Very delicate, so avoid touching as much as possible.
  • Must be kept indoors.
  • Most stems can be cut to size to suit vase.
  • Keep away from humid and areas that build up condensation.
  • Any gathered dust can be removed with a hair dryer on a cool setting or a carefully with a duster.

 Info

  • There are no exact weights or dimensions on all of our items due to the nature of the products.
  • All of our products are sourced at different stages of the growing season and each bunch will never be exactly the same, so please bare in mind natural variations regarding flower and stem sizes, shades/tones will vary.
  • Within our dried/preserved range natural imperfections can occur, ie, stem/flower splits, this is normal due to the drying process and not a fault of the item.
  • All of our products are sold by the quantities stated in the item description, the weights and quantities are to be used as a guide only.
  • Stem lengths are also a guide for the overall bunch, some stems will be longer than others but will contain some smaller stems.
  • Even though these items are naturally dried, some items are painted with artificial colours, which can cause staining.
  • Care is taken throughout our packaging process in order to make sure your dried flower order arrives to you in top condition just as when they left us, care must also be taken when unpackaging your dried flowers as with the drying process, flowers and stems can become more brittle and can break easily, especially as stems can become tangled within the bunch, we find lying the bunch on a flat surface while de tangling helps.
  • In unfortunate circumstances damages can occur during transit via courier, if this happens please get in touch at hello@theflowerpotmen.uk

Pampas Care

Pampas plume sizes and shape are all different from stem to stem.

Pampas care is slightly different to other dried flowers, due to their varying plume style they are naturally prone to shed its fluff (moult) so minimal movement is ideal and away from any draughts.

We recommend after unpacking your pampas, to take outside and roll each stem between your palms to free up and shed any of the loose fluff and to open up the plume. Bear in mind different plume styles (wide and narrow) will open more than the other leading to more shedding.

  • Tip….. Hair spray can be used once in your chosen position to reduce shedding.
