Origin: Tropical West Africa
Sunlight: I’m quite possibly your perfect choice of plant as I can withstand all lighting conditions! Ideally, I like indirect light positions but can cope with a balance of full direct sunshine. Failing this, I can also adapt to low light areas too.
Temperature: I am happy at room temperature, ideally 15-23°C, but I can be in temperatures as low as 10°C but only for a short period of time.
Growth: Very slow growing, although I have been known to grow over a metre tall.
Toxicity: Mildly toxic if consumed, so best to keep out reach of children and pets.
Watering: I don’t need much watering at all, so allow my soil to dry out during winter and water me roughly every four weeks, but during the summer months, water me more regularly.
Feed: I am a low maintenance plant and so I don’t necessarily need feeds, however I would benefit from a dose of general houseplant feed during summer months.
