Origin: Southwest Africa
Sunlight: I like it when I’m placed in an area of bright indirect sunlight. Take care if I’m placed in an area that gets full direct sunlight during the day, as I’ll need to be shaded.
Temperature: With being part of the succulent family, I will thrive in a warmer environment around 20°C during the summer months and in winter around 15 °C, but please keep me away from draughty areas.
Growth: A mature string of pearls have known to have grown its trails to around 1 metre in the right surroundings.
Toxicity: I’m mildly toxic if eaten, keep me away from children and animals.
Watering: Less is more for me. Only water me when my top layer of soil is dry.
Don’t leave me standing within water, as this will cause my roots to rot, so please leave me to fully drain before returning to decorative pot.
The more mature I get the more drought tolerant I become as I store moisture within my pearls.
Feed: A weak solution of succulent or houseplant feed once a month during summer months.
